ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a very valuable complementary treatment to conventional western medicine and can be used for many different ailments. It positively influences the well-being and quality of life of your pet.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of very thin, blunt needles into specific points on the body to decrease the pain and increase the well-being of your pet. This technique has been used in veterinary medicine for at least 3000 years to treat many ailments of animals. The World Health Organization (WHO) now recognizes acupuncture as a valid treatment for many human ailments.

How do I know if acupuncture is right for my pet?
Answers to this and other questions are either summarized under the following PDF-document or: If your pet is already undergoing medical treatment please refer to your primary veterinarian to discuss the possibility of complementing the treatment with acupuncture. Otherwise I’ll be glad to inform you further via telephone or schedule an appointment for you.
